Export Potentials Of Algeria: An Analytical Study Using Revealed Comparative Advantage Approach

Abstract
The present paper tries to study the Algerian export’s potential based on the analysis of Revealed Comparative Advantage concept (RCA). The research highlights key sectors where Algeria registers a comparative advantage by examining data for 40 entries (goods and services). The calculated values and their interpretation, reveals substantial advantages in hydrocarbons and related activities. The paper further relates the findings with the gravitational approach to suggest strategic trade partnerships and draw potential policies for enhancing the export performance. The study proposes visions on exports diversification and leveraging its strengths for attaining affordable and sustain economic growth.
