The Relation Between Remuneration Board And Corporate Failure In The United Kingdom

Abstract
This research examines the correlation between pay attributes and the corporate failure of UK financial institutions from 2015 to 2024. This study has analyzed four factors of remuneration: political connection, age, turnover, and ethnicity. The sample comprises 650 observations collected over twelve years, from 2015 to 2024. Among the four traits, political connection, age, and turnover negatively correlate with corporate failure. The final aspect of this study is ethnicity, which recent research has shown to have a negative and inconsequential correlation with corporate failure.
