Algeria, similar to other developing nations, has recently accelerated efforts to diversify its income streams by placing greater emphasis on the tourism sector. This has involved increasing attention to the country's abundant tourism resources and assets, as Algeria boasts a wide array of natural and historical treasures due to its continental geography. This study aims to evaluate the influence of tourism and the exchange rate on Algeria's gross domestic product (GDP) over the period from 2000 to 2019, employing both simple and multiple regression models. The findings reveal that tourism has a positive but relatively modest impact on the GDP. Conversely, the analysis shows an inverse relationship between the exchange rate and GDP.
