Abstract: Investigating philosophy and daily life within human thought is an attempt to comprehend the implicit meanings of recurring daily events. In this context, the starting point of this topic traces back to the beginnings of philosophy, namely with the First philosophers who sought to explain existence through engagement with life, as well as Socratic and sophistic philosophy up to modern and contemporary philosophy, to simulate the present through researching various scientific, ethical, social and artistic topics. In other words, philosophy descends from transcendence and abstract to engage with human life, concerns, suffering, joys, and alterations. On this basis, the thinker Fathi Triki attempts to investigate philosophy and daily life issues in contemporary Arab thought through various topics such as identity, conflict, diversity, and philosophy of action to search for implicit meanings within these topics in daily life. Through what he terms “open philosophy”, Fathi Triki establishes critical thinking and inquiry into daily life and philosophical issues away from transcendent or systemic thinking, but rather through engaging with humans’ life to address their concerns. Keywords: Philosophy, Diversity, Identity, Ethics, Conflict, Recognition, The other, The self, The world, Human, Art, Technology.
