As globalization reshapes economies and professional landscapes, there is an increasing demand for English proficiency tailored to specific fields, necessitating robust ESP programs. However, implementing effective ESP curricula faces significant obstacles, including the tension between global mobility and local relevance, particularly in resource-limited contexts. Issues such as insufficient funding, a lack of qualified instructors, and the need to accommodate diverse linguistic backgrounds further complicate the landscape of ESP education. This study highlights the importance of collaboration between subject-matter experts and language instructors to ensure the curriculum meets industry-specific needs while addressing the diverse proficiency levels of learners. Additionally, the paper underscores the necessity for cross-cultural competencies and continuous professional development for educators as they navigate the complexity of teaching ESP in a globalized context. By analyzing these challenges, the study aims to foster a more inclusive and effective approach to ESP education, preparing students for dynamic international markets while addressing local economic imperatives.
