The study explores the influence of renewable energy investments on Algeria's economic growth from 1990 to 2022, using the (ARDL) model. Gross Domestic Product (GDP) is the dependent variable, while renewable energy consumption and gross fixed capital formation act as independent variables. The research examines both short-term and long-term relationships among these elements to uncover their interactions. Results reveal a strong positive long-term link between renewable energy consumption and GDP, indicating that increased investment in renewable energy can boost economic growth. Furthermore, gross fixed capital formation also positively impacts GDP, supporting the idea of economic progress.
