L’attractivité Des Ide(s) Au Maghreb : Quelles Incitations?

Auteurs : Bouanani Farah .

Foreign direct investment (FDI) is crucial for the internationalization of economies. It allows a company to influence its activities in another country. In the Maghreb, FDI flows to Algeria have decreased in recent years due to a deteriorating political climate. In contrast, Tunisia has experienced steady growth in its FDI, thanks to a cheap and skilled workforce, as well as developed infrastructure. The Tunisian economy, through the liberalization of prices and imports, the convertibility of the dinar, and the restructuring of its financial sector, seeks to attract more foreign investments. Additionally, preferential trade agreements between Europe and the Maghreb, along with the Euro-Mediterranean free trade area (FTA) project, encourage this dynamic.
