The Role Conflict And Its Relationship With The Student-athletes' Motivation

Abstract
ملخص: هدفت الدراسة إلى تحديد العلاقة بين صراع الدور والدافعية الذاتية لدى التلاميذ الرياضيين، حيث تم الاعتماد على المنهج الوصفي الإرتباطي لتوافقه مع هذه الدراسة. شمل مجتمع البحث 300 لاعب كرة قدم متمدرس ينشطون في البطولة الجهوية لرابطة سعيدة لكرة القدم. تكونت عينة البحث من 120 لاعب كرة قدم مصنفين تحت فئة U17 وU19. توصلت الدراسة إلى وجود فروق بين الجنسين في مستوى صراع الدور لصالح المجموعة التي تقل أعمارها عن 19 عامًا، كما تم التوصل إلى وجود علاقة ارتباطية عكسية بين الأبعاد الأربعة لصراع الدور والدافعية الذاتية في المجال الرياضي لدى التلاميذ الرياضيين. Abstract: The aim of the study was to determine the relationship between the role struggle and the self-motivation of the student athletes, as the correlative descriptive curriculum was relied upon for its compatibility with this study. The research community included 300 soccer practitioners active in the regional championship of the Saeed Football Association. The search sample consisted of 120 footballers classified as U17 and U19. The study found gender differences in the level of role conflict in favour of the group under the age of 19, as well as a reverse correlation between the four dimensions of the role conflict and the self-motivation in the sports field among the student athletes.
