This study offers a holistic analysis of sustainable development in Algeria, examining its economic, social, and environmental indicators over the period from 2011 to 2020. Drawing on an extensive dataset, this analysis evaluates Algeria’s progress toward sustainable development, revealing a general downturn in economic and environmental indicators, contrasted with social gains. These findings indicate that, despite numerous policy initiatives intended to advance sustainability, Algeria remains distant from realizing its sustainable development objectives. The metrics underscore the necessity for effective development strategies in the face of inadequate existing policies.
