الملخص
يشكّل الدّفق التكنولوجي والمعلوماتي المتسارع في السنوات الأخيرة تحدّيًا للفعل الترجمي البشري وقد بات من المستحيل أن يسايره المترجمون من حيث الكمّ والكيف، فجاءت الترجمة الآلية لتقدّم الحلّ لهذا الزّخم الحادّ. يخوض هذا البحث في ماهية الترجمة الآليّة، وتاريخها، وأنواعها، وأنظمتها، ومآلاتها، وآخر تطوّراتها مع ظهور الذّكاء الاصطناعي والتعلّم العميق. كما يرى أيضًا في أهمّيتها، وفوائدها، ومزاياها، وآليات تقييمها، ومشاكلها وقياس أداءاتها، وعمّا إذا كانت الآلة تشكّل تهديدًا على وظيفة المترجم البشري. Abstract : The rapid flow of technology and information in recent years poses a challenge to the human translation process, and it has become impossible for translators to keep up with it in terms of quantity and quality. Machine translation came to provide the solution to this sharp momentum. This research delves into the nature of machine translation, its history, types, systems, implications, and its latest developments with the emergence of artificial intelligence and deep learning. It also examines its importance, benefits, advantages, evaluation mechanisms, problems, performance measurement, and whether the machine poses a threat to the job of the human translator.
