The main objective of this research paper is to assess the impact of climate change on fig trees’ yield in Bejaia, from 1996 to 2022, using an Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) model. This study analyzes how climate variables such as temperature and precipitation affect the yield of fig trees in the region. The results of this study highlight the negative impact of climate change on fig tree yield in the long term. An increase in temperature of 1C° leads to a decrease in fig tree yield of 12.31891 kg/tree, while an increase in precipitation of 1 mm leads to an increase in fig tree yield of 3.703809 kg/tree.
