Linkedin In Algeria: Digital Networking For New Professional Opportunities

Authors : Bourenane Fella .

Abstract

The job market in Algeria is experiencing some development. The digital boom has created a new dynamic in my world of recruitment. This new context encourages recruiters to adapt and offer new ways of applying for a position with a view to being effective. One of the new developments observed is what we call e-co-optation practiced by some Algerian employers. Our study aims to highlight the impact of this brand new recruitment practice on new candidates and to understand how it is beginning to take its place in the strategies of Algerian companies. The emergence of social networks has favored the use of this channel. Companies are starting to adopt this practice called “e-cooptation” or “digital co-optation” whether spontaneously, assisted or even externally via professional co-opters.
