Abstract

Modern educational systems are distinguished by the innovation of their curricula and teaching methods. Observing educational institutions at various levels reveals that they focus increasingly on everything that contributes to raising the level of achievement and maximizing the benefit of the competencies and skills that the teaching materials aim to convey to the learner. Among these subjects is physical and sports education, which combines both theoretical and practical aspects. This duality has prompted educators to give significant attention to how it is taught, by employing pedagogical tools and selecting appropriate teaching strategies to fulfill the concept of teaching physical and sports education. This paper explores the foundations and concepts that contribute to formulating a comprehensive picture of the teaching of physical and sports education.
