Cloud computing is the most important technology produced by digital technologies, as it helps to improve operational efficiency and reduce physical maintenance costs because it does not need a complex physical infrastructure. It also offers automatic service updates and allows easy expansion of storage capacities. We will get to know them in detail through our study of the role of cloud computing in libraries, where we aim to review the transformations they provide in the ways of storing and managing information, making it easier to access them. Cloud computing enhances the management of digital resources and electronic collections such as e-books and magazines and allows collaboration between libraries and various institutions easily and conveniently. Despite the many benefits of cloud computing mentioned in our study, it faces a number of challenges related to security and privacy issues, which necessitates taking the necessary measures to protect sensitive data, and training librarians to deal effectively with this technology is essential. In general, through this article we are trying to highlight the importance of cloud computing in libraries, which offers a promising future for libraries and opens up new opportunities to improve information services and enhance access to knowledge.
