الملخص
: تعد البيئة السياسية في العراق عاملاً معقداً ومؤثراً في التنمية الاقتصادية والاجتماعية للبلاد ويشير مفهوم البيئة السياسية إلى العلاقة بين الفاعلين السياسيين وتأثير هذه العلاقة على السلوك والأحداث السياسية، تتشكل البيئة السياسية في العراق بفعل عوامل محلية وإقليمية مختلفة، من بينها الصراع الإقليمي، الذي له تأثير كبير على أمن البلاد واستقرارها ، وللصراع الإقليمي أبعاد وتداعيات مختلفة على الدول المحيطة بالعراق، وتأثيره على البلاد متعدد الأوجه فالصراع متجذر في عوامل تاريخية، ويشمل عدة جوانب، مثل الحفاظ على الحدود الوطنية، والحفاظ على الهوية الوطنية، وتشكيل تحالفات وتكتلات إقليمية جديدة، ودور القوى الإقليمية. إن دور صناع القرار العراقي في القضايا البيئية الإقليمية متعدد الأوجه ويتطلب فهماً شاملاً للتحديات والفرص الموجودة في هذا المجال من جانب ، من جانب اخر تتأثر البيئة السياسية في العراق أيضاً بالسياسة الخارجية للبلاد، والتي تتشكل من خلال علاقاتها مع دول الجوار والمجتمع الدولي تتميز السياسة الخارجية للعراق بالتركيز على الحفاظ على علاقات جيدة مع جيرانه والمجتمع الدولي، وتعزيز التعاون الإقليمي، والمساهمة في الاستقرار الإقليمي.
