اندفاع التصحر في إفريقيا وتأثيره على الأمن الغذائي (دراسة حالة الجزائر)

الملخص
تواجه الجزائر وعلى غرار الدول الإفريقية الأخرى جملة من التحديات البيئية ذات الأخطار الطبيعية التي تهدد الحق في الحياة والتطور للإنسان، الذي هو جزء لا يتجزأ من البيئة يؤثر فيها ويتأثر بها. والتصحر يعد من أخطر هذه المشكلات البيئية التي تلحق أضرارا بالمساحات الواسعة من الأراضي وخاصة الزراعية منها، ينجم عنها شح إنتاج الغذاء، انتشار الفقر، وتدهور الصحة العامة وغيرها. لذا هناك حاجة ماسة للوقوف عند ظاهرة التصحر، والبحث عن أسبابها وتداعياتها خاصة على الأمن الغذائي، وضرورة مكافحتها في إطار تعاون داخلي وخارجي يوحد الجهود وينظمها ضمن رؤية واستراتيجية متكاملة، وذلك هو الهدف الذي نسعى إليه من خلال هذه الدراسة. الكلمات المفتاحية: التصحر. التغيرات المناخية. التحديات البيئية. تدهور الأراضي. الأمن الغذائي. Abstract: Algeria, akin to several African nations, confronts a myriad of environmental challenges, characterized by natural hazards that imperil both the fundamental rights to life and sustainable development of its populace. Central among these challenges is desertification, a perilous environmental phenomenon wreaking havoc across extensive swathes of land, particularly in agricultural regions. Its deleterious impacts include compromised food production, pervasive poverty, and compromised public health, among other grave consequences. Consequently, there exists an imperative to meticulously scrutinize desertification, comprehensively examining its causative factors and far-reaching ramifications, particularly its implications for food security. Moreover, urgent action is warranted to combat this phenomenon, necessitating concerted domestic and international collaboration under a unified framework. Such collaborative efforts must be guided by a cohesive vision and strategy, aimed at effectively mitigating desertification's impacts and safeguarding the nation's environmental and socioeconomic well-being. This study thus endeavors to elucidate these imperatives and foster a coordinated response to this pressing environmental challenge.
