Abstract

In this article we will discuss a recent problem of Algerian brain drain towards France and other European countries, so we will try to highlight the thinking of many Algerian university intellectuals about emigrating to Western countries, especially France. The psychological tendencies of these Algerian intellectuals were focused on the idea of living outside Algerian territory. The researchers assigned a sample of university professors consisting of 55 university professors at the University of Mohammed Khiedr-Biskra, and they were conducted special dialogues with them to conclude a lot of indicators that indicate that most of them want to migrate despite the availability of respectable positions. Immigration is an obsession that occupies a large part of the minds of many Algerian intellectuals. This is something that must be taken into consideration and given special priority so that Algeria will avoid a great shortage of professors.
