This study aims to shed light on the competition between Turkey and France in Africa, Africa is considered the center of interest and attraction of global and regional powers, due to its great economic resources and wealth. Over the past few years, Turkey has developed various networks of political, diplomatic, economic and even military relations with African countries. It has become an important partner for many countries of the continent, especially those under French influence, which raises the concern of France, which has strong influence towards its traditional colonies of losing them to Turkish expansion to them. From this standpoint, this study is concerned with identifying the form and mechanisms of the Turkish-French competition raging in the African continent, between a rising power trying to change the situation and another traditional power trying to maintain the status quo.
