Résumé
A famous philologist, I.I.Spevnevsky wrote: « A travers la langue le peuple s’exprime d’une manière complète et diversifiée. Tout ce qu’un peuple a accumulé dans son existence et dans ses notions, toute sa mémoire s’exprime dans sa langue ». [Through language a peoples expresses in a complete and diversified way. All that a peoples has accumulated in his existence and his concepts, all its memory is expressed in his language] (My translation). This thinking could be applied today to the concerns of a great number of researchers, sociologists, anthropologists, linguists in Algeria. Does the national language reflect indeed the realities that the peoples live? Is this language a faithful expression of the peoples’ aspirations, conscience, folk and cultural inheritance, his way of life? Doesn't the answer to these questions lie in the increasing interest that the newborn dialectology in our country has brought to light, through the works carried out or in progress in this field? Spots are already fixed for distinct objectives: to support the evolution of the mother tongue, vector of our culture.
