I. Journal Identity : Silsilat Al-Anwar Journal is an internationally recognized, peer-reviewed academic publication specializing in the humanities and social sciences. Established in 2011, it is published semi-annually by the Human Sciences Research Unit for Philosophical, Social, and Human Studies at Oran 2 Mohamed Ben Ahmed University, Algeria, with provision for special thematic or conference-dedicated editions. The journal operates under Print ISSN: (2716-7852)and Online ISSN (EISSN): (2830-8719).
II. Aims and Scope : Silsilat Al-Anwar Journal aims to publish original, high-quality research in the humanities and social sciences that advances conceptual, theoretical, and empirical knowledge. The journal welcomes contributions from faculty, scholars, and independent researchers affiliated with national and international academic institutions. Accepting manuscripts in Arabic, English, and French, Silsilat Al-Anwar strives to serve as a premier global platform dedicated to fostering cross-cultural academic exchange and the dissemination of innovative research findings.
III. Disciplines Covered : Silsilat Al-Anwar Journal covers a wide range of disciplines, including Philosophy, the Social Sciences, and the Humanities across all their specializations. It also actively promotes research in Translation Studies and Applied Linguistics, serving as a global platform for critical inquiry and intercultural academic exchange.
IV. Editorial Policy : Silsilat Al-Anwar Journal is committed to transparency and international best practices in academic publishing. The Editorial Board holds complete responsibility for the scientific content of both regular and special issues, while actively promoting a balanced representation of local, national, and international research published in Arabic, English, or French. All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial desk evaluation; those that fail to meet basic formatting and linguistic standards, fall outside the journal's scope, or present evidence of plagiarism are rejected immediately prior to peer review. Following full evaluation, the Editorial Board issues one of four final determinations: Accept Outright, Minor Revision, Major Revision, or Reject Outright.
V. Peer Review Process :Each submitted manuscript undergoes an initial screening by an editorial board member to assess its suitability for the journal. Once accepted administratively, it is sent for double-blind peer review by at least two independent expert reviewers who evaluate the validity, significance, and originality of the work without knowledge of the author's identity. All identifying information is removed prior to review to preserve integrity. In case of conflicting reviewer decisions, a third arbitrating reviewer is consulted. The publication process from submission to final decision.
VI. Submission, Acceptance, and Publication Dates: To uphold complete operational transparency, Silsilat Al-Anwar Journal provides the explicit editorial timeline for each published paper, including the submission date, acceptance date, and online publication date (Received: DD/MM/YYYY | Accepted: DD/MM/YYYY | Published: DD/MM/YYYY). Displaying these milestones enables authors and readers to assess review turnaround times and strengthens trust in the journal’s peer-review workflow.
VII. Open Access Policy: Silsilat Al-Anwar Journal operates under a full Open Access model, requiring no Article Processing Charges (APCs) or fees at any stage of the submission, review, or publication process. All published articles are made immediately and permanently accessible to the public upon publication with no embargo periods or registration requirements. Published under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License, (CC BY-NC 4.0) the journal allows free reuse, sharing, and adaptation for non-commercial purposes, provided proper attribution is given. Furthermore, authors retain the right to self-archive the final published version in personal, institutional, or thematic repositories at any time without prior permission.
VIII. Publication Ethics: Silsilat Al-Anwar Journal enforces strict ethical standards in accordance with ICMJE authorship criteria, strictly prohibiting ghost authorship, guest/gift authorship, and paid authorship as forms of scientific misconduct. The journal maintains a zero-tolerance policy against plagiarism, enforcing a maximum allowable similarity threshold of 20%. Transparent disclosure of any potential conflicts of interest is mandatory for all authors, editors, and reviewers. Additionally, excessive self-citation and deliberate citation manipulation are classified as ethical violations. . Finally, while generative AI tools like ChatGPT may assist in formatting or linguistic refinement, they cannot fulfill authorship requirements, and using them to generate core research content violates the journal’s editorial policies.
IX. Submission Guidelines: All manuscripts must be submitted exclusively through the Algerian Scientific Journal Platform (ASJP) at https://www.asjp.cerist.dz via a dedicated author account. Regardless of the main language of the manuscript, an English title, abstract, and keywords are required for all submissions. Authors must adhere strictly to the journal’s official template, and simultaneous submission of the same manuscript to multiple journals is strictly prohibited. Submissions should follow the recommended academic structure: Introduction, Theoretical Framework & Literature Review, Methodology, Results & Discussion, Conclusion & Recommendations, References, and an optional section for Author Contributions.
X. Archiving and Repository Policy: All published articles are permanently preserved on the Algerian Scientific Journal Platform (ASJP)—developed by CERIST—as well as across selected open-access scientific repositories. In support of scholarly dissemination, authors retain full self-archiving rights, permitting them to deposit the final published publisher's version (Version of Record) in personal, institutional, or disciplinary repositories at any time without requiring prior permission from the journal.
XI. Indexing and Accreditation :Silsilat Al-Anwar Journal is officially accredited by the Algerian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MESRS) and listed in the DGRSDT national research database. Indexed on the Algerian Scientific Journal Platform (ASJP) managed by CERIST, the journal actively pursues inclusion in major internationally recognized scientific databases to continually expand its global reach, visibility, and scholarly impact.

تصدر مجلة "سلسلة الأنوار" كدورية علمية محكّمة ومعترف بها دوليًا في مجالات العلوم الإنسانية والاجتماعية عن وحدة البحث في العلوم الإنسانية للدراسات الفلسفية والاجتماعية والإنسانية بـ "جامعة وهران 2 محمد بن أحمد" بالجزائر منذ تأسيسها عام 2011؛ حيث تنشر أعدادها بصفة نصف سنوية (تحت رقمي الترقيم الدولي Print ISSN: 2716-7852 و Online ISSN: 2830-8719) بالإضافة إلى أعداد خاصة بالمؤتمرات، وتتخذ من الوصول الحر الشامل (Full Open Access) ترخيصًا لمقالاتها دون أي رسوم معالجة (APCs) وتحت مظلة رخصة المشاع الإبداعي (CC BY-NC 4.0). تهدف المجلة إلى إثراء المعرفة النظرية والتطبيقية عبر قبول البحوث الأصيلة باللغات العربية والإنجليزية والفرنسية في تخصصات الفلسفة، والعلوم الاجتماعية والإنسانية، ودراسات الترجمة، واللسانيات التطبيقية. وتلتزم المجلة بسياسة تحريرية صارمة تضمن الشفافية وتطبيق معايير أخلاقيات النشر العالمية (ICMJE)—شاملة حظر الانتحال العلمي بنسبة تشابه لا تتجاوز 20% وتنظيم استخدام الذكاء الاصطناعي التوليدي—إذ تخضع كافة المخطوطات لتقييم أولي يليه تحكيم مزدوج معمل من قبل محكّمين أجنبيين ومستقلين مع توثيق زمني دقيق لمراحل الإيداع والقبول والنشر على صفحاتها. ويستلزم تقديم البحوث الاعتماد حصريًا على البوابة الجزائرية للمجلات العلمية (ASJP) التي يديرها مركز (CERIST) وتوفير عنوان وملخص وكلمات مفتاحية باللغة الإنجليزية مع الالتزام بقالب المجلة والهيكل الأكاديمي المتعارف عليه، بينما تضمن المجلة للمؤلفين كافة حقوق الأرشفة الذاتية لنسخهم المنشورة، وهي دورية معتمدة رسميًا من وزارة التعليم العالي والبحث العلمي الجزائرية (MESRS) ومدرجة ضمن قاعدة بيانات (DGRSDT)، وتسعى باستمرار للتوسع في قواعد البيانات الدولية لتعزيز أثرها العلمي العالمي.
