Résumé

تسعى هذه الدراسة إلى الكشف عن تمثلات المدينة في رواية "ماكيت القاهرة" لطارق إمام، بوصفها بنية سردية تتجاوز حدود المكان الجغرافي لتغدو نصًا مفتوحًا يحمل دلالات الذاكرة والمحو. وتنطلق من إشكالية رئيسة تتمثل في كيفية تحول القاهرة داخل الرواية من فضاء واقعي إلى فضاء تخييلي يعاد تشكيله عبر نموذج "الماكيت"، وما يكشفه هذا التحول من صراع بين استراتيجيات محو المكان وآليات استعادة الذاكرة. وتعتمد الدراسة المنهج السيميائي السردي بالاستفادة من مقاربات الفضاء الروائي والتأويل الثقافي للمكان، قصد تحليل العلامات المكانية ودلالاتها داخل البناء الحكائي. وتتوصل الدراسة إلى أن المدينة في الرواية لا تؤدي وظيفة خلفية للأحداث، بل تتحول إلى عنصر سردي فاعل يكشف العلاقة بين المكان والهوية، وأن "الماكيت" يمثل بنية رمزية تعيد مساءلة حدود الواقع والمتخيل، وتبرز قدرة السرد على حفظ ذاكرة المدينة في مواجهة التلاشي والمحو. Abstract This study aims to examine the representation of the city in Tarek Imam’s novel Cairo Model as a narrative structure that transcends geographical space and becomes a text carrying the meanings of memory and erasure. It addresses the question of how Cairo is transformed from a real space into an imagined one reconstructed through the “model”, and how this transformation reveals the conflict between the mechanisms of spatial erasure and the strategies of memory preservation. The study adopts a semiotic-narrative approach supported by theories of narrative space and cultural interpretation of place. It concludes that the city in the novel is not merely a setting for events, but an active narrative element reflecting the relationship between space and identity. The “model” functions as a symbolic structure that questions the boundaries between reality and imagination and highlights the role of narrative in preserving urban memory.
