This study aims to analyze resistance to change as a structural barrier to Business Process Reengineering (BPR) in Algerian organizations. It adopts a theoretical-analytical approach based on a Systematic Literature Review, SWOT analysis, and four semi-structured interviews. Findings indicate that managing resistance simultaneously with process reengineering enhances BPR success in Algeria's institutional context and supports the proposed participatory Impetus-Transformation-Performance (ITP) model.
