Abstract: Purpose: This study examines how enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and complementary internal digital platforms are perceived to support organisational efficiency and compliance-related workflow control in an anonymised Algerian pharmaceutical manufacturer. Methods: A descriptive, convergent single-case design combined aggregate survey results from 88 employees, documented managerial summaries and workflow material. Results: Positive satisfaction was reported by 84 of 88 respondents (95.46%). ERP was associated with integration, standardisation, traceability and compliance-oriented control, whereas complementary platforms were associated with accessibility, coordination, training support, request follow-up and mobile validation. Contribution: The case shows how ERP and platform layers can be complementary in regulated work. Limitations: Because the evidence is aggregate and cross-sectional, results are descriptive and case-specific rather than causal or statistically generalisable.
