Modeling The Relationship Between Smart Agriculture And Sustainable Agricultural Development In Algeria: An Econometric Analysis For The Period 1990–2025.

Résumé
The aim of this study is to highlight the impact of smart agriculture and its applications in achieving sustainable agricultural development in Algeria during the period 1990-2025. based on the Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) model to analyze the relationships between the study variables and to estimate the extent of the impact of smart irrigation, investment in human resources working in the agricultural sector, and foreign direct investment directed to the agricultural sector on the development of the contribution of the agricultural sector's growth rate to the gross domestic product. The study concluded, through these standard models, that smart agriculture has a positive and significant impact on the agricultural development index in Algeria during the study period, as it focuses on employing modern technology and artificial intelligence in the context of the farming and irrigation process, and even on qualifying human resources in this field, which would enhance the outputs of production processes in the field of agriculture.
