This study investigates the factors influencing consumers' purchase intention toward Algerian agri-food products, including oil, honey, flour, semolina, butter, and sauces. Specifically, it examines the effects of consumer ethnocentrism and subjective norms on attitude, as well as the influence of attitude on purchase intention, with attitude serving as a mediating variable. A quantitative research design was adopted using data collected from 162 respondents. The proposed model was analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with the seminR package in R. The findings reveal that both consumer ethnocentrism and subjective norms positively influence consumers' attitudes, which, in turn, positively affect purchase intention. The mediating role of attitude was also confirmed. These results highlight the importance of psychosocial factors in encouraging the consumption of Algerian agri-food products and suggest that strengthening domestic consumption can contribute to the sustainability of national agricultural value chains.
