Abstract: The current study aimed to examine the correlation between comorbidity and behavioral disorders among children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). It also investigated the role of secure attachment style as a moderating variable in the relationship between comorbidity and behavioral disorders in autistic children. The sample consisted of (40) autistic children, aged between (5 and 12) years. The researcher utilized a primary data collection form, a comorbidity scale, and an attachment styles scale (both developed by the researcher), along with the behavioral disorders scale (developed by Aya Ibrahim, 2024). The results revealed a significant positive correlation between comorbidity and behavioral disorders among autistic children. Furthermore, the findings indicated that while the secure attachment style may contribute to moderating the strength of the relationship between comorbidity and behavioral disorders to some extent, its effect does not completely eliminate the statistical significance of the primary relationship between them.
