تُشكل ظاهرة الاحتراق النفسي أحد أبرز التحديات التي تفرضها الحياة المهنية المعاصرة خاصة في قطاع الصحة الذي يشهد انتشار واسعا لهذه الظاهرة، وقد هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى استقصاء مستوى الاحتراق النفسي لدى أطباء وممرضي مصالح الاستعجالات الطبية ومدى وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في درجات الاحتراق النفسي تُعزى لمتغير الجنس. وبالاعتماد على المنهج الوصفي التحليلي ومقياس الاحتراق النفسي لماسلاش، تم إجراء الدراسة على عينة قوامها (125) طبيبا وممرضا تابعين لمصلحة الاستعجالات الطبية الجراحية بالمركز الاستشفائي الجامعي -مصطفى باشا–. توصلت النتائج إلى ارتفاع مستوى الاحتراق النفسي لدى أفراد عينة الدراسة، مع عدم وجود فروق دالة إحصائيا تُعزى لمتغير الجنس. Abstract Burnout is considered one of the most prominent challenges imposed by contemporary professional life, particularly in the healthcare sector, where this phenomenon is widely prevalent. This study aimed to determine the level of burnout among physicians and nurses working in Medical Emergency Department, as well as to examine whether there are statistically significant differences in burnout scores attributed to gender. Using the descriptive-analytical method and the Maslach Burnout Inventory, the study was conducted on a sample of 125 physicians and nurses from the Medical-Surgical Emergency Department at Mustapha Pacha University Hospital Center. The findings revealed a high level of burnout among the study participants, with no statistically significant differences attributed to gender.
