Résumé
الملخص: تناول هذا البحث دراسة أثر السياق في توجيه الدلالة عند الإمام الثعالبي في تفسيره الموسوم بـ "الجواهر الحسان في تفسير القرآن". وقد هدفت الدراسة إلى بيان كيفية استثمار الثعالبي للسياق القرآني كأداة منهجية لترجيح المعاني واختيار الأرجح منها بما يتلاءم مع نظم الآيات. وقد تبين من خلال الدراسة التحليلية أن الثعالبي لا يفسر اللفظ بمجرد المعنى اللغوي، بل نظر إلى السياق والقرائن وكذلك الاستعمال القرآني فهي قرائن قطعية في تعيين المراد وتوجيه الدلالة، فلا يفهم اللفظ عنده مجردا عن سياقه وسباقه ولحاقه، بل في ضوء ما قبله وما بعده، وبذلك أسهم في ترجيح بعض الوجوه التفسيرية على بعض، وإبراز تعدد الدلالات مع ضبطها بميزان السياق القرآني ABSTRACT This study examines the impact of context in guiding meaning in the exegesis of Imam al-Thaʿālibī, as presented in his work “Al-Jawāhir al-Ḥisān fī Tafsīr al-Qurʾān.” The research aims to elucidate how al-Thaʿālibī employs Qur’anic context as a methodological tool to weigh meanings and select the most plausible interpretations in harmony with the coherence of the verses. The analytical findings reveal that al-Thaʿālibī does not interpret lexical items solely on the basis of their linguistic meanings; rather, he takes into account context, accompanying indicators, and Qur’anic usage as decisive clues in determining intended meanings and directing semantic interpretation. Thus, a term, in his view, is not understood in isolation from its context—its preceding and succeeding elements—but rather in light of its textual environment. This approach enables him to privilege certain exegetical possibilities over others, while also highlighting the multiplicity of meanings, regulated and refined through the criterion of Qur’anic context
