Résumé
يهدف البحث الى المساهمة في كتابة التاريخ المحلي لمدينة برج زمورة ، التي تؤكد الروايات التاريخية امتداد تاريخها الى الفترة ما قبل الرومانية . انطلقت الدراسة من إشكالية تتمحور حول إمكانية توظيف مصنفات الرحلة في إعادة بناء جوانب من تاريخ المدينة الاجتماعي والاقتصادي والثقافي والعمراني .ارتكز البحث على مصنف " نزهة الأنظار في فضل علم التاريخ والأخبار " للرحالة الحسين الورثيلاني ( ت 1779م) . تناول البحث عناصر أساسية منها : مسمى زمورة في المدونة التاريخية ( العربية والأجنبية) أولا ومدينة برج زمورة في نص الرحلة ثانيا ثم الوقوف على مظاهر الحياة الاجتماعية ( ساكنة المدينة ) والاقتصادية ( زراعة وصناعة وتجارة ) والثقافية ( النخبة العالمة ) والعمرانية ثالثا . تخلص الدراسة أن ما قدمه نص الرحلة رغم محدوديته ، الا أنّه كشف عن معطيات في غاية الأهمية عن حياة المدينة في القرن الثامن عشر الميلادي . This research aims to contribute to documenting the local history of the city of Bordj Zemoura—a history that historical accounts trace back to the pre-Roman era. The study addresses the question of whether travelogues can be utilized to reconstruct various aspects of the city's social, economic, cultural, and urban history. It focuses specifically on the work *Nuzhat al-Anzar fi Fadl 'Ilm al-Tarikh wa-al-Akhbar* (An Excursion for the Eyes regarding the Virtue of the Science of History and Chronicles) by the traveler Al-Husayn al-Warthilani (d. 1779). The research addresses several key elements: first, the name "Zamoura" as it appears in historical records (both Arabic and foreign) and the city of Bordj Zamoura within the travel narrative; and second, an examination of various aspects of life in the city—social (the population), economic (agriculture, industry, and trade), cultural (the scholarly elite), and urban. The study concludes that, despite its limited scope, the travel narrative reveals highly significant information regarding life in the city during the eighteenth century.
