This article seeks to analyze the Hadith of Umm Zar‘ as a cultural document that reveals the value- based and aesthetic frameworks shaping the consciousness and sensibility of Arab women prior to the Prophetic mission. The study adopts a cultural-critical approach that interrogates the female discourse within this hadith by tracing representations of material values (such as generosity and wealth) and moral values (such as loyalty and good marital conduct), in addition to examining the aesthetic system related to the body and strategies of expression as a form of symbolic resistance. The study further highlights how Islam reconfigured these frameworks through Prophetic refinement and guidance, transforming them from material pride into a system grounded in compassion and emotional tranquility. It concludes that this hadith constitutes both a sociological and critical document that reflects an early form of female awareness, contributing to the reconstruction of standards of masculinity and marital relationships in classical Arab culture.
