Résumé

The issue of identity is closely tied to state security, representing the core challenge facing states. This challenge reached its peak at the end of the second millennium, threatening identity security. For this reason, identity security must be accorded the highest priority within state policies in order to address potential dangers affecting society and its identity. This article addresses the threats posed by today’s communication revolution to society and the state, and outlines the issues and considerations necessary to achieve identity security.
