The preservation of cultural heritage in the Algerian countryside is not merely a matter of conserving physical structures but is intrinsically linked to maintaining the social values, collective memory, and identity of rural communities. As modernization and urbanization accelerate, there is a risk of eroding the tangible and intangible assets that define these regions. This paper proposes a comprehensive framework that integrates sociological inquiry with advanced digital technologies to document and preserve rural heritage. We argue that traditional sociological methods must be augmented by modern computational tools—specifically Knowledge Graphs (KGs), 3D reconstruction, and digital twins—to create resilient archives of identity. By synthesizing recent advancements in geolocation, semantic segmentation, and narrative generation, we outline a methodology for creating "Sociological Digital Twins" of rural sites.
