The digital landscape of university libraries is undergoing a radical transformation, driven by rapid advancements in artificial intelligence (AI) and the adoption of creative methodologies like Design Thinking. This study explores the synergistic potential of integrating Design Thinking, a human-centered approach, with AI technologies to enhance the user experience (UX) of university library websites. While Design Thinking provides a framework for deeply understanding student and researcher needs, AI serves as the technical engine capable of processing big data and personalizing services. This paper proposes a theoretical framework where Design Thinking stages (Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, Test) interact dynamically with AI applications such as recommendation systems, semantic search, and behavioral analysis. The findings suggest that this integration transforms library websites from static repositories into intelligent, responsive ecosystems that adapt to individual learning styles, thereby increasing resource accessibility and academic engagement.
