Transformational Leadership And Its Role In Change Management: A Field Study At The Faculty Of Law And Political Sciences, Abou Bekr Belkaid University Of Tlemcen

Résumé

The concept of transformational leadership is considered one of the modern concepts related to organizational behaviour. Accordingly, this study aims to examine the extent to which transformational leadership influences change management. To achieve this, the study employed a descriptive-analytical approach and the case study method. A random sample of 60 individuals was selected from a total of 144 employees at the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences, University of Tlemcen. The findings reveal a statistically significant effect between the dimensions of transformational leadership (idealized influence, intellectual stimulation, and individualized consideration) and the areas of change management (goals and strategies, individuals, technology). Moreover, a strong positive correlation was found between the dimensions of transformational leadership and the domains of change management, indicating that the transformational leadership style possesses a high capacity to manage change effectively.
