A Study Of The Relationship Between Translational Speed In And Out Of Water Among Youth Swimmers (10–13 Years)

Résumé

This study aimed to identify the relationship between translational speed in and out of water among youth swimmers (10–13 years). For this purpose, we used the descriptive approach on a sample of 05 swimmers registered with the Sports Club of Chabab Amal Souk Ahras (CASA), selected intentionally. Data were collected using physical performance tests. After collecting the results and processing them statistically, the study concluded that there is a statistically significant correlation in translational speed between land and water among youth swimmers (10–13 years). Accordingly, the study recommended integrating speed and explosive-power training on land as an essential component for developing in-water speed, given the close relationship between the two.
