The aim of this study was to examine the effects of Ramadan fasting on short-term maximal performances in soccer players. Twenty-four U15 Algerian amateur soccer players voluntarily participated in this study (age = 14.25 ± 0.60 years, height = 54.34 ± 8.19 cm, weight = 167.08 ± 5.52 kg). Participants completed 15, 30, and 50-m speed tests, the MATT, SJT. at 16:30h on three periods: BR, Mid-R, and AR. There were no significant between the BR and Mid-R for the speed tests (15, 30, 50 meters), SJT and PP (p ˃ 0,05). There are significant between BR and AR (p <0.001), (p = 0,003), (p <0.001), (p = 0,015), (p = 0,012) respectively. There are also significant between Mid-R and AR (p <0.001). As for the MATT, there are no significant between the three study periods (p ˃ 0,05). In conclusions, Ramadan Fasting did not negatively affect short-term maximal performance in soccer players, i.e., efforts of less than 8 seconds.
