Résumé

The current study aims to demonstrate the ethical and professional violations that scientific research may be exposed to using artificial intelligence software and applications. The study aims to identify the nature and extent of these violations and their impact on scientific researchers, following the widespread use of artificial intelligence applications in various stages of scientific research. The study reviews, through an analytical survey and the use of an electronic questionnaire directed at a purposive sample of faculty members at Algerian universities, the data collected. The data was processed and statistically analyzed using the statistical package SPSS. The results of the field study also aim to build a forward-looking vision related to demonstrating the risks of the increasing and almost total reliance on artificial intelligence applications, leading to the establishment of the concept of the "alternative researcher" or "research robot."
