This study explores the role of artificial intelligence in enhancing the quality of education in Finland, focusing on e-learning as the primary independent varia-ble representing AI, and government expenditure on education as a control varia-ble, both serving as key determinants of educational outcomes across different levels. Annual time-series data for the period 2014–2024 were used, and the study employed the Ridge Regression model to analyze the effects while addressing multicollinearity among independent variables and ensuring stable estimations. The results indicate that e-learning significantly contributes to increasing graduation rates, whereas government expenditure plays a supportive but relative-ly weaker role. Furthermore, continuous investment in digital infrastructure, the development of remote learning platforms, and comprehensive digital transfor-mation strategies enhance equity and provide learning opportunities for all groups, including marginalized and rural communities. This study confirms that integrating AI into educational systems substantially improves academic performance, pro-motes sustainability and fairness in learning outcomes, and serves as an effective tool for shaping future educational policies aligned with sustainable development goals.
