This study aimed to identify the impact of digital transformation on job performance in the public sector, by analyzing the effect of the dimensions of digitalization (software, machinery, networks, data, human competencies) on job performance in Guelma Municipality, Algeria. A scale consisting of 37 variables was used, and 118 questionnaires were distributed to employees of Guelma Municipality, of which 95 valid responses were retrieved for analysis. One of the most important results of the study showed that there is a statistically significant relationship between digitalization and the level of job performance among Guelma Municipality employees at a significance level of (α ≤ 0.05). This means that digitalization significantly contributes to improving employee performance, whether in terms of efficiency, effectiveness, or speed of completion. The study also presented a number of recommendations related to the importance of digital transformation in Algeria in developing the level of local municipal services, and supporting and strengthening the digital infrastructure of municipalities by providing modern IT equipment and updating administrative software to ensure more efficient job performance.
