Résumé

ملخص الدراسة : يعالج هذا البحث موضوع المعالجة الإعلامية لجرائب التعذيب التي ارتكبتها فرنسا خلال احتلالها للجزائر , وذلك من خلال دراسة مضمون برامج قناة فرانس 24 الناطقة بالعربية . يهدف البحث إلى الكشف عن الكيفية التي تتناول بها القناة هذه القضية التاريخية الحساسة , وتحليل مدى التزامها بالموضوعية والحياد في عرض المعلومات , أو إذا كانت تعكس وجهة نظر معينة تخدم المصالح الفرنسية . يركز التحليل على الخطاب الإعلامي المستخدم , واختيار المصادر والشهادات , وطريقة تقديم الأحداث , مع تقييم مدى تأثير ذلك في تشكيل وعي المشاهد العربي بالقضية الاستعمارية , وخاصة ما تعلق بذاكرة التعذيب والانتهاكات . كما يناقش البحث الدور الذي تؤديه وسائل الإعلام الدولية في إعادة إنتاج سرديات تاريخية معينة , إما بالاعتراف بالجرائم والمساهمة في إنصاف الضحايا , أو بالتقليل من فضاعة الانتهاكات وتلميع صورة الاستعمار . Abstract: This research addresses the media coverage of torture crimes committed by France during its occupation of Algeria, by analyzing the content of programs broadcast on France 24 Arabic. The study aims to uncover how the channel presents this sensitive historical issue and to assess whether it adheres to objectivity and neutrality in its reporting, or whether it reflects a particular perspective that serves French interests. The analysis focuses on the media discourse used, the selection of sources and testimonies, and the manner in which events are presented. It also evaluates the extent to which this coverage shapes the Arab viewer’s awareness of the colonial issue, particularly in relation to the memory of torture and violations. The study further explores the role of international media outlets in reproducing certain historical narratives whether by acknowledging the crimes and contributing to justice for the victims, or by downplaying the severity of the violations and polishing the image of colonialism.
