In light of the increasing religious and cultural interactions that the world is witnessing, sometimes accompanied by misunderstandings and conflicts, the need arises to understand the methods of effective dialogue and to draw inspiration from historical experiences, including the method of Imam al-Rida (peace be upon him) in his dialogue with various religions.,We face a dearth of in-depth analytical studies of his methodology and intellectual and ethical foundations, which defines the research problem as the need for a comprehensive, systematic understanding of his dialogues in order to extract principles that enrich contemporary dialogue efforts. The importance of this research lies in presenting an authentic historical model of interfaith dialogue in Islamic civilization. This model can provide valuable insights for thinkers, researchers, and decision-makers concerned with promoting understanding and peaceful coexistence in our world today, and contribute to enriching the literature on interfaith dialogue from an Islamic perspective. The research mainly aims to analyze the approach of Imam Ali bin Musa al-Rida (peace be upon him) in dialogue with followers of other religions., throughIdentifying and documenting historical texts that include dialogues between Imam Reza (peace be upon him) and representatives of other religions., andRevealing the intellectual and cognitive foundations upon which Imam al-Rida (peace be upon him) relied in his dialogue, such as his view of religious differences and his methods of reasoning and persuasion. The research will be based primarily on the analytical approach, as historical texts that include dialogues between Imam Reza (peace be upon him) and followers of other religions will be analyzed, and the characteristics and components of his approach to dialogue will be deduced. The nature of the research required dividing it into an introduction and three chapters. The introduction dealt with the concept of dialogue, its elements and etiquette. The first chapter: Imam al-Rida’s dialogue with the Jew. The second chapter: Imam al-Rida’s dialogue with the Christian. The third chapter: Imam al-Rida’s dialogue with other religions. Then there was a conclusion that included the most important results reached by the research.
