Literature is considered an effective means of controlling language. Therefore, various linguistic empires across the world attempt to dominate it. This is what French colonialism sought to implement in Algeria. The linguistic and educational policy it established was primarily based on the Frenchification of society, with all its components, and the neutralization of Arabic as the sole and powerful competitor to French. In this repressed identity atmosphere , the Algerian novel which was written in French was emerged raising specific and explicit questions about national identity and the concept of homeland. Through these texts, it affirms that the student has learned and understood the lesson well, and is now rebelling against his teacher. This slogan was raised highly by Malek Haddad, who used the French language as a weapon to unveil the truth about France, revealing the falsity of its claims to the world. He embodied the reality of the injustice and aggression to which the Algerian people were subjected, and presented a new concept for defending stolen freedom
