This article examines the effectiveness of blended learning during and after the COVID-19 pandemic by exploring Algerian EFL teachers' assessment of the approach in terms of perceived advantages and disadvantages. In this context, mixed methodology was used, by combining an unstructured interview with a structured questionnaire. Thirty-four (34) teachers from the English and French departments of the Faculty of Letters and Languages at M'hamed Bougara University of Boumerdes completed the questionnaire. Ten (10) teachers from the same departments were interviewed concurrently to supplement the questionnaire responses. The results highlighted the teachers' dissatisfaction with the blended learning approach and underlined their concerns about the method's inadequacy in the Algerian context.
