Turkish-Iranian relations have gone through many developments, at times they find rapprochement, and at other times they find tangible divergence, especially under the period of the rule of the Ottoman Empire, which was characterized by wars between the Persians and the Ottomans, and the divergence continued until 1923 AD, when after this period it began to improve for the better and continuous development, and they became united by many common aspects, most notably the trade and economic exchange since the period of Ottoman rule, and the era Islamic history in addition to the geographical neighborhood, and these relations are the result of several geohistorical, geopolitical, geocultural, geoeconomic and demographic factors, especially since Turkey was a bridge for the convergence of Iranian civilization with Western European civilization. In light of the Turkish-Iranian competition in the Middle East, and as they are among the dissatisfied major countries, the Arab region has stopped facing three challenges, most notably: This competition is accompanied by interference in the affairs of states, namely: the growth of Iranian influence in the region, the positive and negative Turkish interventions in Arab issues, and the struggle between the major powers over influence, as the countries of the Middle East, especially Iraq, Syria and the right, must stand in the face of these Iranian regional policies that had a prominent role in the outbreak of some wars in the region, such as the first Gulf war, and the civil war in Yemen. This is in addition to Iran standing behind some armed organizations in the countries of the Middle East, such as the Lebanese Hezbollah, the Houthi group, and the Shiites of Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. Therefore, it was necessary to confront this Iranian political extremism with all the strength that the countries of the Middle East had, and this in turn is one of the most important results of this study
