This study compared beetle abundance and diversity in two types of farmlands in the Naama region: a palm grove and a forage crop farm. Beetles were collected with Barber traps in 2022, and 22 species from 10 families were found. The PERMANOVA analysis showed that site had a significant effect on beetle communities (R² = 0.157; p = 0.034), indicating clear seasonal differences. NMDS analysis also showed that some species were typical of certain seasons. For example, Adesmia biskrensis and Cicindela sp. were mainly found during the cold season, while Laemostenus algerinus and Orthomus lacouri were more common after the hot season. These results suggest that both seasonal changes and local habitat features shape beetle communities.
