Transformations Of Family Values In Light Of The Growing Trends Of Emancipation Among Female Athletes In Algeria

Abstract
Abstract: Algerian society during past decades witnessed deep social and cultural transformations, reflected on different fields, and among them sport field which no longer monopolized by men as was before, where changed this view with society development and entering Western values to Arab societies, specially Algerian society, where transformed that simple woman with defined roles to active woman in society, participates in all sport facilities and economic and political and social... etc. And became Algerian woman today present strongly in sport fields, whether as athlete or coach or even as administrator and responsible in sport field. Woman's participation didn't limit to physical side or recreational only, but exceeded it to become field for self-building and affirming social identity, where sport practice contributed in crystallizing new liberation directions among Algerian woman, manifested in her pursuit toward independence and decision making, and demanding equality in opportunities and representation.
