الملخص
يتناول هذا المقال دور الأسرة في حماية الأبناء من مخاطر الحياة الحضرية المعاصرة، في ظل التحولات الاجتماعية والتكنولوجية السريعة التي أفرزت أنماطاً جديدة من التحديات مثل ضعف الرقابة الاجتماعية، وتنامي التأثيرات الرقمية، وتفكك الروابط الأسرية، وتزايد الضغوط النفسية والثقافية. وينطلق المقال من فرضية أساسية مفادها أن الأسرة ما تزال تشكل المؤسسة الأولى للتنشئة الاجتماعية، رغم ما تواجهه من صعوبات بنيوية ووظيفية. كما يبرز المقال الآليات التي تعتمدها الأسرة في الحماية، مثل التنشئة القيمية، والمتابعة التربوية، والدعم النفسي، والتربية الرقمية، إضافة إلى التعاون مع مؤسسات التنشئة الأخرى. ويخلص إلى أن فعالية الأسرة في حماية الأبناء تتوقف على قدرتها على التكيف مع التحولات الحضرية والعولمية، وعلى تكاملها مع محيطها الاجتماعي والمؤسساتي This article examines the role of the family in protecting children from the risks of contemporary urban life, in light of rapid social and technological transformations that have generated new challenges such as weakened informal social control, increasing digital influences, family disintegration, and rising psychological and cultural pressures. The article is based on the assumption that the family remains the primary institution of socialization despite the structural and functional challenges it faces. It highlights the main mechanisms adopted by families for protection, including value-based socialization, educational supervision, emotional support, digital parenting, and cooperation with other socialization institutions. The study concludes that the effectiveness of the family in protecting children depends on its ability to adapt to urban and global changes and to integrate with its broader social and institutional environment
