This study examines the effectiveness of national and international anti-corruption mechanisms as a strategic pillar for strengthening economic stability. It uses a descriptive analytical approach to analyze the legal and institutional system and link it to economic indicators. The first section addresses the national system, represented by the High Authority for Transparency, the Central Office for the Suppression of Corruption, and the Court of Accounts. The second section analyzes international frameworks, especially the UN Convention against Corruption and the standards of the Financial Action Task Force. It explains their role in internationalizing anti-corruption efforts and facilitating judicial cooperation to recover looted assets. The final section shows that effective anti-corruption mechanisms reduce public project costs, decrease the budget deficit, and create a transparent and fair investment climate. The study confirms that fighting corruption is not only a punitive measure, but also a preventive economic necessity that improves the country’s credit rating and attracts capital
