Abstract

The purpose of this research is to draw attention to the European Central Bank's role in advancing green finance. We started by outlining the conceptual framework of green finance, along with associated ideas, its significance, and the difficulties it faces. After that, we discussed how central banks can help with the green transformation by implementing a number of tools and policies. In the last section, we discussed the European Central Bank's experience with green finance. One of the study's most notable conclusions is that central banks can contribute significantly to the development of environmental sustainability by implementing policies that support green finance.
