The approach of the Prophet Job—peace be upon him—in calling people to God Almighty is evident in his life story, which sets the finest examples of patience, steadfastness, and trust in God. God Almighty tested him severely in his body, wealth, and family, yet he remained steadfast in his faith, content with God’s decree and destiny, making his story a practical model for preachers in the face of adversity and tribulation. This approach is evident in his patience in the face of affliction and his steadfastness in it; for Job, peace be upon him, did not despair at the length of his trial, but rather met the ordeal with patience and acceptance, so that his patience became a silent call to faith and trust in God. His biography also reflects his trust in God and his reliance on Him, for he never lost hope in God’s mercy despite the severity of his affliction; rather, he turned to his Lord in supplication and prayer, believing that relief lies solely in the hands of God Almighty. The story of Job, peace be upon him, affirms that calling to God is not achieved through words alone, but rather through practical conduct and virtuous character. Patience, certainty, reliance on God, and taking practical measures are among the most important pillars that a caller to Islam must embody in order to convey the message of God Almighty.
